Fishes, Somtam, Chicken and Pulut

Today, I fell asleep by the river. I came alive to a sleepy world, a world that feels as if it was passing by very slowly. Waking up to rustling leaves and soothing wind, you should try that someday.

We had grilled fish and papaya salad, we listened and talked until the sun was shy, and we had nothing but the company of each other and our trusty Nokias supplying the light and music when the moon said hi. Tiger and Thong came to deliver us fried chicken and pulut, whiskey, soda water and coke. Jakunness at its best, I clicked here and there; these people are used to me being the shutter-loving-woman.

And so there we were.. as we talked late into the night.
